Abstract
⺠Synthesized and characterized a series of SNS Zn(II) pincer compounds. ⺠Zn(II) complexes enhance reduction of aldehydes in presence of hydrogen donor. ⺠Correlated cyclic voltammetry results with Gaussian calculations. ⺠Performed DFT calculations to understand geometry about Zn center.
