Abstract
⺠This article has described some important roles of an organic molecule in the formation of metal oxide based inoragnic solids. ⺠The synthesis invovles hydrothermal reaction of Cu(II) salt, ammonium heptamolybdate, and 4-ptz (5-(4-pyridyl) tetrazole). ⺠Variations in synthetic conditions yield two different compounds in terms of their solid state structures. ⺠The formation of zwitter ion of the organic molecule is the key point.
