Abstract
⺠[Pt(dien)Cl]Cl has kinetic selectivity for selenomethionine over methionine. ⺠[Pt(Me4en)(D2O)2]2+ has stereoselectivity during chelation of selenomethionine. ⺠[Pt(en)(D2O)2]2+ can form a variety of products with selenomethionine. ⺠Displacement of the en ligand occurs when two selenomethionines are coordinated.
