Abstract
⺠Palladium complexes with a salicylaldiminato ligand bearing a hydroxyl group were synthesized. ⺠The structures of these complexes were confirmed by X-ray crystallography. ⺠A reversible deprotonation/protonation of the hydroxyl moiety was observed. ⺠The deprotonation affected its catalytic behaviour considerably.
