Abstract
► Synthesize two manganese complexes based on nitronyl nitroxide radicals. ► One complex forms cyclic dimer structure and another has one-dimensional chain structure. ► Both complex 1 and 2 behave ferrimagnetically. ► Orbital symmetry is used to explain the magnetic properties of the two complexes.
