Abstract
Tri(2-methylphenyl)stibine reacts with [PdX2(cod)] or PdX2 (XÂ =Â Cl or Br) to give the trans-[PdX2{Sb(2-Me-C6H4)3}2]. The single crystal X-ray structures of trans-[PdX2{Sb(2-Me-C6H4)3}2] (XÂ =Â Cl or Br) revealed that the palladium atom is a square planar environment with mutually trans Sb(2-methylphenyl)3 ligands.
