Abstract
⺠We have carried out the azidation of nitriles coordinated to Pt(II) and Pt(IV). ⺠These reactions lead to corresponding coordinated tetrazolates. ⺠Coordination of RCN to Pt centers enhances the reactivity of nitriles in the reaction with azides.
