Abstract
Vanadyl porphyrin complexes, VO(OPP) (OPPÂ =Â 2,3,5,10,12,13,15,20-octaphenylporphinato; 1) and VO(DPP) (DPPÂ =Â 2,3,5,7,8,10,12,13,15,17,18,20-dodecaphenylporphinato; 2), have been prepared. In the crystal structures, 1 and 2 are regarded as a ruffled structure and a saddle-shaped structure, respectively. Distortion properties of these complexes in solution have been spectroscopically and electrochemically investigated.
