Abstract
Three new ligands were synthesized by a one-pot method. The crystal structures of their nickel(II) complexes were determined by X-ray analyses. The nickel(II) complex of L1 is a dimer in which two Ni(II) atoms bridge by two Clâ anions. A ferromagnetic exchange coupling exists between the two nickel(II) ions.
