Abstract
Hydrothermal synthesis allows the preparation of a series of compounds of the Cu/Mo/O/As family. Several of the materials are constructed from well known polyoxomolybdate building blocks: the [Mo12As2O40]3â Keggin cluster or the [Mo18As2O62]6â Dawson unit. In two instances, the fluoride mineralizer is incorporated into the structure, as shown for [{Cu(o-phen)}2Mo2O4F2(AsO4)2].
