Abstract
Spectroscopic and structural characterizations of MX:dpem (1:1) ('dpem' = Ph2ECH2EPh2) are reported for MX = AgCl, Br; CuI, CN/Cl (all isomorphous) and AgI, AgSCN, CuSCN arrays, all being of the novel form [(μ-X){M(μ-X)(As-dpam-Asâ²)2Mâ²}]â, essentially the familiar M(E-dpem-Eâ²)2Mâ² binuclear array with both 'bridging' and (linking) 'terminal' (pseudo-)halides involved in the polymer.
