Abstract
A tetranuclear complex [Pr(CuL)3(H2O)2](SCN)3 · 1.5H2O (L = 1,4,8,11-tatraazacyclotradecanne-2,3-dione) has been synthesized. The structure of the title complex consists of a cationic PrCu3 core, noncoordinated monovalent SCNâ anions and H2O molecules; the temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibilities were analyzed by an approximate treatment, leading to J = â1.62 Ã 10â2 cmâ1, Π= 3.12 cmâ1, gCu = 2.13, respectively.
