Abstract
Clusters [Ru3(μ3-Se)2(CO)8(L)] (L = tertiary phosphine) show a reactivity towards [W(CO)3(MeCN)3] leading to the corresponding bimetallic closo clusters [WRu3(μ4-Se)2(μ-CO)4(CO)7(L)] with the formation of two coordination isomers. Electrochemical measurements have been performed on [WRu3(μ4-Se)2(μ-CO)4(CO)8 â x(L)x] species.
