Abstract
⺠Zinc complexes of tridentate verdazyl radical and diradical were prepared. ⺠The coordinated radicals can be oxidized and reduced reversibly. ⺠Redox potentials of the zinc coordinated verdazyls differ strongly from the free ligands. ⺠Oxidation of the zinc diradical leads to redox-induced hemilabile behavior.
