Abstract
⺠A novel triimino diamine ligand has been prepared. ⺠The ligand has a hexahydropyrimidine core. ⺠The coordination geometry of first-row transition metal complexes is distorted octahedral or square-pyramidal, as applicable. ⺠Iron(II) complexes are readily accessible. ⺠Iron(III) complexes proved inaccessible.
