Abstract
⺠Significant effect of the fluorous content on (a) the uptake of the amphiphilic glycosides and (b) production of glycolipids. ⺠Evaluation of the hydrophobicity of perfluoroalkyl chains in amphiphilic compounds. ⺠Localization of amphiphilic glycoside with perfluoroalkyl chains into liposomes resembling cells. ⺠Noteworthy is that the amphiphilic compounds with perfluoroalkyl chains have a strong affinity for the cell membrane.
