Abstract
Graphite fluorides prepared at room temperature have been treated under fluorine at temperatures up to 600 °C. In parallel, to an increase of the fluorine content, changes of CF bond and carbon hybridization are registered. Nature and content of residual intercalated species as a function of the treatment temperature are also discussed.
