Abstract
Poly(hydrogen fluorides) HF2â and H2F3â act as ligands to Ca and Sr hexafluoroarsenates(V) and Sr hexafluorophosphate(V) yielding a new type of polymeric compounds M2(H2F3)(HF2)2(AF6). This is the first example that HF2â and H2F3â are simultaneously bridging metal centers.
