Abstract
DOTATATE is an analog of somatostatin (octreotide) linked to DOTA, which has high affinity to receptors of neuroendocrine tumour tissues. Our results show that from the macrocyclic ligands studied, DOTA is the most suitable ligand for binding scandium radionuclides 44Sc and 47Sc to biomolecules.
