Abstract
A series of organoruthenium sulfide cluster compounds has been prepared from the reaction of Ru3(CO)12 and SPPh3. These compounds also undergo ligand substitution reaction to form clusters with up to three PPh3 ligands. The optical limiting properties of these compounds and their selenide analogues at 523Â nm were investigated using the Z-scan method.
