Abstract
The crowded TsiSiEtXXâ² (X = Xâ²Â = Cl, X = Xâ²Â = SCN, X = Xâ²Â = NCS, X = Xâ²Â = NCO, X = Xâ²Â = N3, X = Xâ²Â = H, X = Xâ²Â = Br, X = Xâ²Â = I, X = Xâ²Â = OH, X = H; Xâ²Â = I, X = H; Xâ²Â = OH, X = H; Xâ²Â = OMe, X = I; Xâ²Â = OMe) have been synthesized by electrophilic and nucleophilic reagents.When TsiSiEtCl2 was treated with NaOMe/MeOH it gave (Me3Si)2CHSiEt(OMe)2.
