Abstract
Four CuI complexes were isolated with coordinated monomers, [CuI(PMDETA)(Ï-M)][BPh4] (MÂ =Â methyl acrylate, styrene, 1-octene, and methyl methacrylate). The CuI-olefin complexes were characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray crystallographic analysis. The Ï-nature of the bonding was confirmed by 1H NMR spectroscopy.
