Abstract
Reactions of 1,8-(PMe2)2C10H8 with Ru3(CO)12 or Ru3(μ-dppm)(CO)10 results in ready replacement of one PMe2 group by H to give Ru3(μ-dppm)a(CO)11-2a{PMe2(nap)}; thermolysis affords clusters containing μ3-naphthalyne groups.
