Abstract
Ni(HP1) (H3P1 = meso-5-[4â²-(2â³-pyridyl)phenyl]-10,15,20-triphenylporphyrin) reacts with [PdCl4]2â/NaS2CNEt2 and [Ir(H)2(PPh3)2(Me2CO)2][BF4] to give the bimetallic cyclometalated porphyrin complexes Pd(S2CNEt2)[Ni(P1)] and Ir(H)Cl(PPh3)2[Ni(P1)], respectively, which have been characterized by X-ray crystallography.
