Abstract
The phenyltrihydroborate metallocene complexes: Cp2ZrX{(μ-H)2BHPh} (X = Cl, H, and {(μ-H)2BHPh}) and Cp2Ti{(μ-H)2BHPh} were prepared and structurally characterized. Reactions of Cp2ZrCl{(μ-H)2BHPh} with B(C6F5)3 produced Cp2ZrCl{(μ-H)2B(C6F5)2} in the toluene and produced [Cp2ZrCl(OEt2)][HB(C6F5)3] in the diethyl ether.
