Abstract
Primary and secondary amines, pyridine and benzophenone imine, can be coordinated in the dinuclear complexes [Fe2{μ-CN(Me)R}(μ-CO)(CO)2(Cp)2][SO3CF3] (R = Me, Xyl) via CO displacement, promoted by Me3NO. The imino complex 13b reacts with p-tolylacetylide, generating C-C and C-N bonds with formation of a new bridging vinylidene-diaminocarbene complexes 15.
