Abstract
Titanocene complexes [TiCp2(Cl)R], [TiCp2(Cl)SR], [TiCp2(SR)2] with benzothienyl and dibenzothienyl containing ligands were synthesized and studied. Crystal structure determinations of complexes with dibenzothienyl ligands revealed planar heteroaromatic rings. HeLa and COLO 320M tumor cell lines were used in preliminary experiments to examine cell growth inhibition displayed by the compounds.
