Abstract
Lattice parameters obtained from XRD patterns of samples calcined at 1300°C in the system Lu2âxYxSi2O7 (0⩽x⩽2) show a linear change with increasing Y content, what indicates a solid solubility of β-Y2Si2O7 in β-Lu2Si2O7 at that temperature.
