Abstract
Uniform nanorods of Bi2S3 were synthesized by a thermal reaction between Bi-thiol complexes Bi(SC12)3 and thioacetamide in a coordinating solvent, dodecanethiol, at 95 °C. The experimental results demonstrated that the evolution of nanorods over time involved five distinctive stages (see Figure).
