Chiral fluorous bis(oxazoline)/copper complexes have been applied to the asymmetric glyoxylate-ene reaction, giving moderate to high enantioselectivities. An efficient separation of the copper catalyst using a solid/liquid separation or the FRPSG concept, and its reuse was achieved.
