Abstract
⺠The genetic diversity across the three populations was found to be low, whereas the Shetongmon population exhibited the highest level of genetic diversity, followed by the Nyang population and Lhasa population. ⺠Three natural populations of Glyptosternum maculatum are not genetically differentiated. ⺠The large disparity of living altitude has not brought genetic distinctiveness to different populations.
