Abstract
⺠Atractylodes chinensis (DC.) Koidz. has been showed to contain sesquiterpenes, polyacetylenes, oleanolic acid, and 5-hydromethyl furaldehyde. ⺠Discuss the chemotaxomic marker for genus Atractylodes. ⺠Five species of Atractylodes were similar in the sesquiterpenes and polyacetylenes. ⺠Oleanolic acid can be used to differentiate A. chinensis from A. lancea, A. koreana, A. ovata, and A. japonica.
