Abstract
► Amygdalin activated with β-d-glucosidase shows superior anti-HepG2 activity. ► Activated amygdalin could inhibit HepG2 cells proliferation and promote apoptosis. ► Injection for amygdalin is more reliable than oral administration. ► Our findings highlight the combination strategy with higher anti-tumors activity.
