Abstract
⺠Ag nanoparticles were prepared and characterized by UV spectroscopy and TEM. ⺠Nonwoven viscose fabrics were finished with chitosan/PVA/Ag nanoparticles. These fabrics were characterized by measuring tensile strength, air permeability, water permeability and roughness and antibacterial properties against gram positive and negative bacteria. ⺠The nonwoven viscose fabrics were evaluated as wound dressing on French white Bouscat rabbits. ⺠The antibacterial properties of viscose fabrics were enhanced. ⺠Wound healing of viscose fabric treated with chitosan/PVA/Ag nanoparticles shows a complete healing than the blended fabrics, which confirmed by histopathological studies.
