Abstract
⺠Starch of double mutant sweet wheat is unlike starch of GBSSI or SSIIa mutant parental lines. ⺠Small, deformed starch granules present in SW throughout seed development. ⺠Molecular weight of SW amylopectin is reduced. ⺠SW has novel low molecular weight peak consisting of MOS and short branched glucans. ⺠SW starch lacks cereal A-type XRD pattern.
