Abstract
⺠Seven alkali-soluble hemicelluloses were obtained with KOH from 20 to 50 °C. ⺠Samples were mainly composed of xylose and small amounts of other sugar components. ⺠Higher temperatures (30-50 °C) yielded hemicelluloses with higher molecular weights. ⺠Structure of hemicelluloses was proposed via multiple spectroscopy.
