Abstract
⺠Intracellular antioxidant activities of aminoethyl-chitooligosaccharides (AE-COS) was investigated on BV-2 cells. ⺠AE-COS inhibits inflammatory response in LPS-activated microglia. ⺠AE-COS has protective effect against neuroinflammation. ⺠Collectively, AE-COS can be used as a free radical scavenger in the prevention and treatment of neuroinflammatory diseases.
