Abstract
⺠The kinetics of chitosan crosslinking by glutaraldehyde can be monitored using DLS data coupled to the KWW equation. ⺠Gelification time can be characterized as the time at which ICF amplitude catastrophically decreases. ⺠The gelification time can be characterized as the time at which relaxation rate distribution center reaches its minimum value. ⺠Gelification time can be characterized as the time at which KWW exponential factor reaches its minimum value. ⺠KWW equation can be used to indicate the occurrence of non-ergodicity during gelification of chitosan solutions.
