Abstract
⺠Presented the comparative studies of various commercial trades of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). ⺠Prepared the different dilutions of polyvinyl alcohol and applied onto the fabrics. ⺠Determined the colorfastness properties of the treated fabrics after application of PVA. ⺠The applied polyvinyl alcohols enhance the stiffness, crocking and washing ability and hue resistance.
