Abstract
⺠The hydrophilicity of chitosan was increased after quaternization and PEGylation. ⺠mPEG with higher MW was more favorable for the improved biocompatibility. ⺠mPEG with higher MW facilitated lysozyme mediated degradation. ⺠Quaternized chitosan showed dose-dependent lipid peroxidation inhibition effect.
