Abstract
⺠Immobilization of cells was found maximum when beads of 0.6 mm were used. ⺠At 10% sucrose concentration maximum dextran production was found. ⺠Maximum dextran production from immobilized cells was found at 30 °C and after 40 °C free cells stop producing dextran. ⺠Immobilized cells were capable to produce dextran even after 12 days.
