Polysaccharide-based polyelectrolytes hollow microcapsules constructed by layer-by-layer technique

Hollow CMGP/QGP microcapsules with controlled thickness were constructed by stepwise adsorption of oppositely charged polysaccharide-based polyelectrolytes onto the colloidal ZnO particles followed by the core decomposition. The hollow microcapsules were safe, hydrophilic and biocompatible, that will have potential applications in the field of controlled drug release.
