Abstract
⺠Starch films were produced by adding spray and vacuum freeze dried starch nanoparticles. ⺠Presence of starch nanoparticles increased film roughness lowered the crystallinity, WVP and Tg. ⺠Presence of freeze dried starch nanoparticles in film increased the film opacity. ⺠Presence of starch nanoparticle enhanced film compactness and resistance against shrinkage. ⺠Presence of starch nanoparticles lowered the Young's modulus and toughness at <100 °C.
