Abstract
⺠A novel photocrosslinkable gellan gum that contains a cinnamate moiety was prepared. ⺠Gellan gum-cin film is a new device for preventing postoperative tissue adhesion. ⺠We demonstrated that the gellan gum-cin film has superior anti-adhesion capabilities. ⺠This study provides the basis for designing anti-adhesion barriers based on microbial polysaccharide gellan gum.
