Abstract
⺠The antioxidative activity (TEAC) of exopolysaccharide (EPS) by fungi may be affected by components. ⺠Rutin, aspartate, FeSO4, vitamins and Tween 80 affected EPS production and TEAC by Phellinus sp. P0988. ⺠The relative effect of these components on EPS production was shown to be FeSO4 > Tween 80 > rutin > aspartate. ⺠The relative effect on EPS TEAC was aspartate > rutin > FeSO4 > Tween 80. ⺠These results yielded EPS and TEAC with 6.2 ± 0.2 g/L and 5.5 ± 0.1 mM, respectively.
