Abstract
												⺠Modified waste newspaper fiber (MWNF) was utilized as a sorbent for the removal of RTB G-133 from aqueous solution. ⺠The maximum adsorption capacity reached 260 mg gâ1. ⺠Adsorption kinetics of RTB G-133 on MWNF in a batch process well followed pseudo-second order model. ⺠Langmuir isotherm model well described the adsorption of RTB G-133 on MWNF. ⺠The adsorption of RTB G-133 on MWNF is a spontaneous endothermic process.
