Abstract
⺠Water extract of Lythrum salicaria is resolved into twelve glycoconjugates according to the negative charge. ⺠Individual glycoconjugates differ in carbohydrate, protein and phenolic contents. ⺠Three glycoconjugate fractions possess higher anticoagulant activity as that of the native water extract. ⺠The anticoagulant activity increases with uronic acids and phenolics contents.
