Abstract
⺠In the present work superparamagnetic starch nanoparticles have been prepared by impregnating iron oxide nanoparticles into the starch matrix following a novel in situ precipitation method. ⺠The size of the particles was found to lie in the range 20-80 nm which are worth for pharmaceutical applications. ⺠The release profiles are greatly influenced by the application of external magnetic field and a greater release of cisplatin is observed.
