Abstract
⺠P. pulmonarius was grown in submerged cultured using different carbon sources. ⺠The mycelia yield varied depending on the culture medium carbon source. ⺠Samples grown with xylose and arabinose had high protein content of above than 19%. ⺠All cultured biomass showed to be composed mainly of unsaturated fatty acids. ⺠Exopolysaccharides fractions showed as main structures glucans and mannogalactans.
