Abstract
⺠Aggregation of chitosan, O-carboxymethylchitin, and di-N,N-carboxymethylchitosan. ⺠It proceeds even in the absence of N-acetyl-d-glucosamine units. ⺠Hydrogen bonds breaker 7 M urea cannot destroy the aggregates completely. ⺠Crystallization of junction zones between macromolecules is suggested.
